Sigurdson

Sigurdson was engaged to brand and develop multi channel marketing materials for a new Montreal downtempo electronic music festival. Nights of Infinity's goal was to elevate electronic music to a new level, and attract a more affluent mature audience. It accomplished this by delivering regular monthly events in upscale performance venues with the high production standards. The events were embellished with performances by world class circus performers and video artists. It was essential that the marketing material and branding reflect this departure from the cacophony of low budget events that were saturating the electronic music market in Montreal at that time.

Scott responded with an upscale brand vision that was applied to an integrated suite of materials that included a website, posters, postcards, flyers, community building, social media engagement, as well as print and online advertising. Scott was also engaged to design the stages and lighting. He created a variety of sound reactive LED light installations and stretched lycra projection surfaces for the video artists. The light installations made appearances on the outdoor electronic music festival circuit to raise awareness of the festival.
